Doha Debates
Its was one great experience I had , being there at the doha debates ..... Its a public, more like students being invited from all universities around qatar, forum thats happens in Qatar foundation, broadcasts in BBC and soon Aljazeera for children and presented by the famous Tim Sebastian www.thedohadebates.com... My friends and I were invited for this specific episode where Bill Clinton was the guest ... It was such a goood experience meeting someone who has a great Charisma and as powerful as he is ... It felt like being in a movie or something when he came in and more like being there and talking ..Although it didnt take a long time, or maybe not enough for me admiring him , some of the students had the chance to ask questions , unfortuntaly chosen by the organizers. As much as some of the questions were not as powerful to be asked to him but he managed to make them very inspiring.. He talked about his youth, how he would be dealing with Iraq if he was the president not making the mistakes that are happening daily, by doing the things that must be done at the circumstances of the time...One of the students asked if he would listen to his wife if she was to run for president one day, he said he does all the time anyways.. lol when you think of all the things that happenned in the past with him being 'busted' he must've been a very good person after that. But you know, having able to keep it all up is very powerful. Showing as much love as his did on stage, being passionate about every single acheivments, mistakes or the situtations he've been through pledged in my heart that really surprised me... I'm going to buy his book soon and read more about him, since I had a totall different idea about him before yesterday...Anyways here are some of the pics my friend took , although not that clear but kinda cool having our own pics :P
